Kara joined .406 Ventures as an Associate in January 2006. She has worked in the venture capital industry for four years, including two years at Arcadia Partners where she worked with Liam Donohue. At Arcadia, she was responsible for supporting Partners in all facets of the investment process, portfolio monitoring and fund administration. Prior to Arcadia, Kara worked for the Boston Consulting Group/ValueScience (“BCG”), where she analyzed strategic business opportunities. Prior to BCG, she worked for the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, a joint effort between the US Department of Education and private education and technology companies. She holds a BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where she was captain of the Sailing Team and an All-American sailor.
