BURLINGTON, Mass. – June 05, 2013 - Veracode, Inc., the leader in application security testing, today announced that Ed Goldfinger has been appointed CFO. Goldfinger is an accomplished CFO and brings with him extensive experience in financing and growing successful technology companies. Most recently Goldfinger was the CFO for Boston-based Zipcar, which he helped to take public in 2011 before it was ultimately acquired in March 2013.
Veracode, which delivers software and services to secure the world’s software, including mobile, web and enterprise applications, achieved 78 percent year-over-year revenue growth in 2012. The company is one of the hottest places to work in the Boston area, growing its employee base by over 75 people in 2012. Veracode is 20th on the Forbes' Most Promising Company in America list. Veracode’s growth trajectory extended into 2013 with the company once again reporting record revenues for the quarter ending March 31, 2013.

Goldfinger brings with him deep experience as an executive at a number of technology companies. He comes to Veracode from Boston-based Zipcar, where he also served as the CFO. Prior to Zipcar, Goldfinger was the CFO at Spotfire, a business intelligence and software analytics software company. This followed on the heels of a successful run at Empirix, a web application testing company, where Mr. Goldfinger was CFO and then CEO. In these roles, he led each company through top tier growth. He is a graduate of the Wharton undergraduate program at the University of Pennsylvania.
