Sam King is the executive vice president of product strategy and corporate development. In this role, Sam oversees product management, corporate development, M&A activities and building key industry and strategic alliances. Sam is a well-recognized speaker and has presented at various industry events including RSA, Gartner and InfoSecurity events. She came to Veracode from VeriSign (formerly Guardent), where she held product management and product marketing responsibilities as well as managed the professional services and customer relationship management teams. Prior to VeriSign, Ms. King served as Product Manager for i-cube/Razorfish, where she led major customer engagements ranging from legacy system transformations to the development of large scale custom applications and web applications.
Sam earned her Masters of Science and Engineering in Computer and Information Science from University of Pennsylvania and her BS in Computer Science from University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland where she was the recipient of the prestigious Charles Babbage Award – awarded to the student with the highest academic achievement in the graduating class.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sam serves as a mentor for the Boston Product Management Association and is an executive member of the working mothers group in her community.
