SurfCT assigns an AuthAir token to each user, which carries unique identity. Staff carry their token with them in a pocket, or clipped to their belt. When staff enter the operatory, and approach a workstation they’re authorized to access, they pass the pre-set trigger point and the workstation automatically logs that individual in without them having to key anything in manually. Similarly, when staff step away, the system senses that token’s departure and instantly locks the workstation preventing any potential prying eyes who are left alone for even the briefest time, from ever viewing sensitive information. When staff return, the system unlocks just as seamlessly, bringing them right back to where they left off.”
