Digitalsmiths, the innovative multi-screen media analysis, operations and publishing technology provider, today announced it has added three executives to its team. Josh Wiggins, formerly of Ascent Media, has joined as Digitalsmiths’ Vice President, Business Development, West Coast. Greg Gambina, who most recently served as Director of Media Production at MySpace, has joined Digitalsmiths as Senior Account Manager. Mike DeBrincat, formerly of MOVE Networks and 20th Century FOX, has joined as Senior Solutions Architect.
The team will report to Robert Bryson, Digitalsmiths’ Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. All three new hires will be based in Los Angeles.

Digitalsmiths’ flagship product, VideoSense®, is a studio-grade digital media management system optimized to help studios, networks and other premium content providers deliver video anywhere, anytime, and on any device. Wiggins, Gambina and DeBrincat will serve as key resources for the company’s Los Angeles-based studio clients and will continue to develop new markets for VideoSense, which has experienced a surge in demand with the advent of “TV Everywhere.”

Josh Wiggins joins Digitalsmiths as VP of Business Development, West Coast, where he will be responsible for corporate development, strategic partnerships and developing customer relationships. Wiggins comes to Digitalsmiths from Ascent Media, where he was a key member of the team that oversaw business development, media operations and strategic technical sales for Ascent Media Digital Services. Prior to Ascent, he served as manager of global VOD support at nCUBE Corporation and held senior positions at Ganesa Telecommunications, Winstar International and Glotel PLC.
Greg Gambina has more than 20 years of experience in online media production and customer support. As Senior Account Manager at Digitalsmiths, Gambina will be the frontline contact for clients’ day-to-day needs. In his previous role at MySpace, Gambina worked closely with business development and production teams to maximize costs savings. While at MySpace he also managed a team of in-house and freelance producers generating short form branded content. Previously, Gambina worked for America Online and Image Laboratories.
Mike DeBrincat joins Digitalsmiths as Senior Solutions Architect where he will be responsible for developing content distribution and revenue generation systems for the company’s rapidly growing customer base of premium content holders. Prior to Digitalsmiths, he served as Product Manager and Solutions Architect at Move Networks where he managed the technical, service and implementation aspects of the company’s live event, broadcast/network channel and video-on-demand Internet-based media distribution business service offerings. Before Move, he spent over a decade at 20th Century FOX where he held several senior technical and digital media management roles.
