Burlington, MA – August 6, 2009 – Veracode Inc., the cloud-based application risk management services platform, today announced the appointment of software industry veteran Gary Vilchick as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Vilchick brings to Veracode over 20 years of financial and operational experience working with rapidly growing software companies and service providers.

With more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, Vilchick brings significant corporate development and financial experience to Veracode. Recently, as CFO of SupplyScape, Gary was responsible for all of their financing activity, including successfully closing two rounds of venture funding. Previously, as CFO of Endeca, he played a key role in building the company into one of country’s fastest growing venture-backed technology organizations. Earlier, as CFO at Spyglass, the original Internet browser technology and one of the earliest publicly traded Internet companies, Vilchick managed the $1.2 billion acquisition of the company by Open TV. Vilchick also held several financial management positions at Pitney Bowes, including VP of Finance for a $300M software division.
