BOSTON - April 19, 2017 --
Threat Stack, a leader in cloud-native security and compliance management, today announced that its Audit Plan is now available for direct purchase on AWS Marketplace. As an AWS Partner Network (APN) Security Competency Partner, Threat Stack now offers AWS customers full access to Threat Stack Audit capabilities within a matter of minutes, providing them with an easy, automated solution for AWS configuration auditing, AWS CloudTrail integration, and recommendations for achieving AWS security best practices.
“It was incredibly easy to find, purchase, and deploy Threat Stack in minutes using AWS Marketplace,” said Jason LaVoie, Ph.D. Director of Technical Solutions and Technical Operations, SessionM. “With a quick Audit scan of our environment, we could see which services were running and where configurations could be improved. With ongoing, automated configuration scans and CloudTrail alerting, we will always know where there may be risk as our environment continues to change.”
The Threat Stack AWS Configuration Audit Plan is available on AWS Marketplace starting today. AWS customers can monitor up to five AWS accounts through either month-to-month or annual service terms, purchased directly within the AWS Marketplace, leveraging the new SaaS Contracts functionality. Once they complete the online sign-up, users can run a Threat Stack Configuration Audit in a matter of minutes and receive a score based on AWS best practices and CIS security benchmarks. For customers who want to take further action to secure their cloud environment, the Audit Plan seamlessly integrates with the Threat Stack Cloud Security Platform® (CSP), providing a cloud security solution that brings together configuration auditing, real-time host level monitoring, compliance reporting, investigation, and out-of-the-box workflow integrations.
“Security is our number one priority at AWS, and providing easy access to advanced offerings like Threat Stack Audit on AWS Marketplace is an important component of helping our customers achieve their security goals,” said Barry Russell, GM, Global Business Development, AWS Marketplace and Catalog Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “With this SaaS Contracts listing, customers can now get the security benefits of Threat Stack through AWS Marketplace with simplified procurement, unified billing, and discounted rates on long-term contracts.”
“Many organizations today are looking to maximize visibility into their cloud environment in order to help identify risks,” said Brian M. Ahern, Threat Stack Chairman and CEO. “We are excited to offer a ‘one click’ configuration audit service, designed specifically to support the AWS security workflow with speed, accuracy, and actionable recommendations. Spending less time spent manually auditing what is configured properly allows security and operations teams to focus on velocity and growth.”
Threat Stack will participate in the AWS San Francisco Summit on April 18–19, Booth No. 1230.
