BOSTON – July 13, 2016 – CloudHealth Technologies today announced the appointments of John Purcell as Vice President of Product, and Phil Pergola as Vice President of Customer Success. The news comes on the heels of $46 million in Series D financing, led by venture capital powerhouse Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Meritech Capital Partners and CloudHealth Technologies’ existing investors.
The funding round will enable the cloud service management leader to scale international operations and nearly double the size of its workforce, a mission that Purcell and Pergola will both help to support. These leadership hires are the most recent example of CloudHealth Technologies’ business momentum and ongoing commitment to spearheading the next generation of cloud service management. As the company continues its extreme growth trajectory, recently posting a 130 percent year-over-year revenue increase, Purcell and Pergola have both been tapped to lead strategic global initiatives.
Purcell, CloudHealth Technologies’ Vice President of Product, brings more than 20 years of experience focusing on product development in the telecommunications and IT industries. Coming from past positions at SmartBear Software and LogMeIn, Purcell will leverage his expertise to sharpen the company’s product vision and innovation, and build a team that is focused on creating a world-class product while retaining its maniacal customer focus.
Pergola joins CloudHealth Technologies as Vice President of Customer Success; he previously held the role of Vice President of Global Services at EnerNOC. Pergola brings more than 22 years of experience in customer-facing leadership roles in the software and IT realm. In his role, Pergola will remain laser-focused on a core attribute at CloudHealth Technologies – customer success and adoption – with the goal of ensuring both customers and partners derive maximum benefit from the CloudHealth platform in a world of growing cloud complexity.
“As we continue to scale the entire company, it’s important to remain focused on our core values. For CloudHealth Technologies, that’s our dedication to producing a world-class platform that meets the needs of our customers and partners -- both now and in the future,” said Dan Phillips, CEO of CloudHealth Technologies. “I’m thrilled to welcome both John and Phil to our leadership team, and know that they will add tremendous value to the business as we look to a landmark year ahead.”
