BOSTON – October 3, 2017 – CloudHealth Technologies today announced the appointment of Erik Randles as Vice President of Business Development. The announcement is the latest proof point in the company’s remarkable growth trajectory, coming hot on the heels of new CEO and President Tom Axbey.
CloudHealth Technologies is continuing to disrupt and leave its indelible mark on the cloud management market, spurred by $46 million in series D financing led by world renowned technology investment firm Kleiner Perkins. Randles will be crucial in supporting this mission, bringing a wealth of experience and proven success to the role.
Based out of the San Francisco office, Randles will play a pivotal part in spearheading the company’s global expansion. His focus areas will include driving business opportunities, forging new OEM relationships and overseeing the development of the company’s partner ecosystem. His previous accomplishments include enabling successful exits and triple-digit growth at both private and public technology companies, most recently as VP of Business Development & Alliances at SimpliVity, which was recently acquired by Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Prior to his time at SimpliVity, he led global business development at Violin Memory, where he helped develop new partnerships and revenue streams, leading to an IPO in 2013. He has also held leadership positions at Symantec, Veritas, BEA Systems, KPMG and Capgemini.
“Erik continues our streak of hiring the best and brightest players to help scale the company at a time when customers worldwide need to maximize the productivity of their cloud and data center resources,” said Tom Axbey, CEO and President of CloudHealth Technologies. “He is exactly the skilled, focused leader that we need to help drive revenue and create unique value opportunities through new global business relationships. We are thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team.”
Randles earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he served as an Advisor, and earned his BA from Baylor University.
