Liberman will draw upon his 20 years of engineering and management expertise to oversee the design and delivery of Bit9’s industry-leading whitelisting solutions.

Liberman joins Bit9 from Ounce Labs, a Massachusetts-based security company. As vice president of engineering at Ounce Labs, Liberman was responsible for all research and development activities at the software security provider.
Prior to that, Liberman held a number of leadership roles at IBM, including head of product development for IBM Rational ClearQuest. He joined IBM through its 2003 acquisition of Rational Software, where he was the director of engineering for the company’s software quality automation business unit. Before Rational, Liberman was the lead architect for defect tracking and test management solutions at SQA Inc.
