McIvor brings deep experience in launching, scaling and managing fast-growing healthcare businesses, health plans, technologies, services and products.

McIvor has been a leader in healthcare organizations for more than 30 years and has a track record of successfully developing solutions to the sector’s most pressing problems. In his most recent role for Seniorlink, now CareForth, McIvor and his team adapted the company’s caregiver collaboration technology and services products for the Medicare Advantage markets and he served as President of the company’s Seniorlink Technologies subsidiary. At NovaSom, McIvor helped build sleep management programs at both Anthem and United Healthcare. At iHealth Technologies/Cotiviti, he held executive-level, market-facing positions during a significant recapitalization with Goldman Sachs. He helped launch, grow and sell complex disease management Accordant Health Services to ADVP/Caremark/CVS.
McIvor was also Market CEO for Oxford Health Plans NY and before that Market CEO of Oxford Health Plans IL where he turned around one of its health-plan acquisitions. Earlier executive roles at Oxford Health Plans followed his four years on the Managed Care Consulting Team at Ernst and Young. Oxford Health Plans is now a United Healthcare subsidiary.
He will be Abacus Insights’ first independent director. The company’s board is comprised of 5 directors.
McIvor also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Cone Health System in NC. He previously served on the boards of Accordant Inc., Sentillion Inc., and Medvantx Inc. He is currently a board member for non-profits North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation and Fellowship Hall.
