Svenska Spel, Sweden's leading gaming company, owned by the Swedish government, announced today that is has selected Kaltura (www.kaltura.com), developer of the first open source online video platform, to power video across the Svenska Spel website and its e-gaming web properties.

Svenska Spel has deployed Kaltura's hosted service and is currently using the Kaltura SaaS solution to power video. Now the companies have moved to phase two of the deployment, where Svenska Spel will migrate to Kaltura's On-Prem solution, and host the video platform locally behind its own firewall.
