.406 Ventures took a bet on us early, and we’re thankful they did. Liam and Payal have always been there, whether it’s thoughtful discussion in a board meeting, or a late night phone call to talk through a potential candidate, I trust their advice and value their candor.
From the very beginning, 406 has been an incredible partner. They’ve referred countless customers our way and provided impactful insight into how to build our company. Payal played an integral part in helping us close one of our first major health system deals with Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Liam and Payal are both great to work with and have provided an incredible amount of value to our company. I’m thankful we’re able to consider them part of the Redox family.
Liam and Payal have opened up their families and homes to us. One of my favorite memories was at a dinner when Liam invited all of us over to his beautiful home after a board meeting. We enjoyed an authentic Korean dinner prepared by So-June (Liam’s wife and .406 Ventures CFO). Our CTO, James, typically a fan of cheese quesadillas and nachos, gave the spicy kim-chi a try. It may have been the tasty table wine, but he decided kim-chi was a winner. In one evening, .406 helped us reconsider our company’s strategy and our international food choices.

Funny Memory of .406 Ventures
I was chatting with Liam right before leaving on an international vacation with my wife (we were literally traveling to Mongolia). I was right in the middle of trying to close a great candidate and I was thinking through potential options in case I needed to jump on the phone. Liam’s response was to send over his ‘favorite satellite phone rental company’ and suggested that folks at .406 could help get it shipped to my place in time for my flight. It was all stated as if that was the obvious thing to do. Well played Liam.
